Dr. Thomas Wieda of Penn State provides suggestions on how to cut costs on health care, which include not skipping routine check ups and tests and using generic medications. Bethany Thayer, a dietician, says that the best ways to save on diet include cooking at home and stocking up on canned good when they are on sale.
