Gluten-Free Beer for Arkansas

Arkansas now offers two brands of gluten-free beer to appease the approximately 30,000 celiacs who live in the state. The Harbor Distributing Company makes Bard’s Tale Dragon’s Gold beer from malted sorhum instead of malted barley. The brew is perfect for washing down a gluten-free pizza, which none of the restaurants in Little Rock serve—yet. Anheuser-Busch also offers Redbridge. Before the Alcoholic Beverage Control Administration Division approved gluten-free beer, celiacs would smuggle it across state lines.
